MARY DELL FULLER: In the first decade of the 2000’s, Mary was one a dominating runner at a level rarely seen in Central Pennsylvania. The Boiling Springs High School graduate was an extremely versatile athlete, winning a pair of state championships for the Bubblers in the 100 and 200 meters in 2004 and 2006, respectively. In college at Shippensburg University she put her versatility on full display competing in almost anything and everything from a 60 meter dash to a full 5K. Mary was a three-time Indoor Track and Field All American, a three-time Outdoor Track and Field All American and joined the cross country team and SU and was an All American in 2008, 2009 and 2010. She did some coaching for the Red Raiders while earning her graduate degree, then continue to coach at Lower Dauphin when she took her first teaching job in 2011. She stepped away from all that when her first son was born in 2019. Mary continues to run recreationally today, and in her words “dabbles in the occasional road race.”
